## What the product does

flow-chart.io is a browser-based diagramming application. Users describe a process, architecture, or workflow and receive a structured diagram draft rather than a flattened screenshot. The editor supports moving, renaming, restyling, adding, and deleting individual scene objects.

Generation is probabilistic. Users must review generated content, relationships, notation, accessibility, and factual accuracy before relying on or publishing a diagram. Domain-aware prompts and an automated advisor can surface potential notation issues, but they do not certify standards compliance.

Supported use cases include business processes, systems and cloud architecture, networks, DevOps pipelines, security models, data pipelines, organization charts, and general explanatory diagrams. Available exports include SVG, PNG, PDF, JSON, and Mermaid.

Image and PDF uploads may be used to create a structured first draft. Results are an AI interpretation and may omit or misread source details. Users should not upload secrets, credentials, regulated data, or other sensitive content.

- Free: limited saved projects and an environment-configured monthly AI-credit allowance; no payment card required.
- Pro: $19/month or $180/year.
- Suite: $49/month or $390/year.
- Team: sales-assisted private beta, starting at $29/seat/month or $288/seat/year.

AI-credit allowances and operation costs are displayed in the authenticated product because they are configurable. Team access is not available through self-service Stripe checkout.

## Privacy and security

- The browser does not load advertising pixels, session replay, or non-essential analytics.
- Optional server error monitoring is operational telemetry, with configured PII scrubbing.
- GitHub scanning is limited to public repositories, filtered path metadata, and configured repository allowlists. Repository source contents are not sent to the AI by that feature.
